The calamari was the absolute best I've ever had. The Sea Bass special was wonderful!! Our server was knowledgable and attentive. You don't nind the price if the food was good, which it most certainly was. LOVED IT!
Award winning romantic, low lit, 3rd generation italian family owned business with multiple dining areas like the Godfather & Wine room. Best calamari I've ever had- thick strips, not your typical crunchy dried out crap. Crispy eggplant parm is stacked & not overloaded with cheese and sauce. Hand made pasta is perfect! Everything is house made except the locally sourced bread and ice cream. A refreshingly authentic Italian restaurant ♡
Our night actually didn't start at Giovanni's. We were at another restaurant that said we didn't need to make a reservation, but it turned out we needed one. Giovanni's more than made up for it. The minute you walk in, it's an old-world Italian ambience. The staff is so kind. The food, oh my goodness, the food! The appetizers were calamari breaded with a lemon sauce and gulf shrimp with risotto and a lemon butter sauce. We finished the plates so fast....
