Grand Circus Diner

The service was excellent. Very warm and receptive staff. I stopped here to have a beer on many occasions. The food is good too. I would recommend anyone in the area or at the game to stop in.

We stopped in Grand Circus Diner based on an article about the coolest new bars in the city, based on Yelp Reviews. I have to say walking in the front doors, it is an interesting spot. I'm in Detroit on a regular basis, and i've never noticed this place. The decor is a circus menagerie of things. The bar is oddly located in the back of the diner. This place is a fun new locale that really takes the circus theme to the next level. It is great food but a little pricy. For that reason, the lite lunch menu is a better bet. They do have a good selection of drinks in addition to the food. The service was good. The cheesesteak I had was just completely melt-in-your mouth and I enjoyed every bit of it.
