I thought the salmon salad was fine, the fries were TERRIBLE, and the menu does NOT justify the price at ALL. First of all, the window says "salmon - $8" and the bill came back as $7.95 with a $12 ADD-ON... Are you insane? The bill came out to be $32.70. Absolutely ridiculous.Otherwise, the place was small and the music was loud. Never coming back here.

Very nice experience. They are not normally opened during the hours we went (First home game for Detroit Tigers)... Therefore, they had a selected menu. I had a lettuce burger with fries. The fries were absolutely amazing!!!! The seasoning was on point..Money and Lilie were wonderful servers. I would recommend this restaurant... Another great thing... It is a black owned business! Thank you for a great experience!

Visiting Detroit for the weekend and happened to stumble upon Great Lakes. It was the Tigers first home game, but seating for lunch was still easy. The smaller menu had decent burger, sandwich and pizza options. I chose the grilled chicken sandwich and fries and was not disappointed. Our server Lillie and host Money were very nice. The food came fast. And the price was reasonable. We enjoyed ourselves!

The service was extremely slow for the few patrons they had. The greeter-waiter was inattentive slow and forgetful. The burger had too much garlic and the fries were burnt. A couple who came in after us left because it took too long for them to receive their food. We would have left too if we weren't using a Groupon. We won't go back.

Would give zero stars if I could. We should have read recent reviews and the overall vibe of the place and stayed clear of this place from the start. After dinner it was clear this establishment is a huge tourist trap with bad service, shotty food, and forced gratuity. From the second we walked in, we felt completely ignored by staff. We were sat upstairs in a booth with no menu or silverware. It took over 15 minutes to even get waters and our food ordered with only 3-4 other tables around us already being served. We ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and “house special” cesar salad along with a 2 topping pizza. After 25 minutes, my chicken sandwich came out. It was okay. I had not asked for Mayo but he insisted he could put the garlic Mayo on the side. We were told salad and pizza would be coming right out. 15 minutes later I still had no salad or pizza and my sandwich was soggy from the Mayo I had not even requested. I went to check on the food downstairs and was told it was coming right out. Within 10 more minutes, I got my warm salad drenched in cesar dressing - no croutons or Parmesan cheese for $9!! At this point we had waited for pizza for about 50 minutes and was told they were just now slicing it and that pizza takes longer to cook. The pizza was sloppy, hot, cheese and toppings came off as soon as we pulled out a slice. We quickly finished dinner and asked for our check only to find out an $8 tip had already been added to our bill on top of the worst $45 dinner I had ever experienced. We were in town for a show nearby and felt completely taken advantage of after waiting over an hour for barely decent food with an empty restaraunt and no staff to actually serve you for the tips they force you to pay.

They were not the least bit busy, we were the first ones in the door when they opened, and we received the slowest, worst service I've ever experienced at a restaurant. We were there an hour and half and we still had not received all of the food we had ordered. It took 45 minutes to receive one of the burgers we ordered, then another 10 minutes for the second and then sporadically receiving things we had ordered, and we never even received everything by the time we decided we were done. It was the most frustrating experience I've ever had eating somewhere! Especially because they made us late for our event.

Tik Tok lied to us. This place looks amazing online in videos, in person it’s a horrible experience. When we came in, there wasn’t anyone downstairs but the bartender, and I’m assuming her family because the little girl slipped and she picked her up and gave her back to the dad. She told us we could seat ourselves upstairs. Okay, cool. We get upstairs, there is one server, there is a big party and a few other booths seated. The party was finishing up, the server had just finished taking the other booths orders, once she was done and got their drinks she let us know we could scan the barcode for our menus and she would come back in 5-10mins for our orders. This was also fine, we saw her cashing out her big table so we weren’t upset about waiting. Once she came back, we ordered a pizza with steak, grilled onions, and banana peppers, two burgers and two drinks, an order of truffle parm fries. The other booths that were already seated and our table, waited over an hour and a half for cold food. I never got my drink, the fries were burnt and cold. Our pizza didn’t have the steak in it so we sent it back, just for them to take it, add steak back into a now cold pizza. Absolutely ridiculous. The turkey burger was unseasoned and dry, they gave me a squirt of sauce that looked and smelled very unappetizing. My husband got his beer, and he ate his burger because he was tired of waiting for our server to come back. We were there for almost two hours for a very lack luster experience. The other booths had requested a manager that never came. We were all talking over the booths about this horrible service. The food runner was unsightly and definitely seemed confused about what food went where and what the orders should be. The server apologized for the messed up orders but seem too overwhelmed to really care or give good service. I really wanted this place to be what I’ve seen online. I was completely disappointed with every minute of this place. 0/0 don’t recommend at all. Don’t waste your time. It’s not worth a single penny.
