The food here is solid, and I would highly recommend for anyone looking for Japanese cuisine. Additionally, the service here is top notch; our server Jacquelin and the chef (whose name I regrettably didn’t catch), went above in beyond in keeping with our dietary restrictions. On top of having an alternate all-halal menu, they also went out of their way to point out dishes with alcohol ingredients and worked with us to come to solutions regarding alternate ingredients....
Wow. This place was really amazing. Great vibe. Love that it’s downstairs and also has a hidden speakeasy. So cool! Great vibe. Jacquelyn was our server and she was amazing. Very knowledgeable and walked us through the entire menu. I didn’t know what kind of saki to order so she let us sample a couple before we committed. Loved that!

I do not review unless something is exceptional or frankly terrible, and Hiroki-San has officially made us terribly spoiled. My husband and I have gone there 3 times now in a row as it’s not worth spending our money anywhere else. I have traveled all over the world, including Japan and the quality of fish cannot be beat at this place as far as Midwest goes. The only spots that come close are located in Chicago. The care that is placed in each dish is obvious and intentional....
