I do not review unless something is exceptional or frankly terrible, and Hiroki-San has officially made us terribly spoiled. My husband and I have gone there 3 times now in a row as it’s not worth spending our money anywhere else. I have traveled all over the world, including Japan and the quality of fish cannot be beat at this place as far as Midwest goes. The only spots that come close are located in Chicago. The care that is placed in each dish is obvious and intentional....
We had such a wonderful experience at Heroki-San! The food and the vibes were immaculate. Bonus points if you get Juan as your server, he was so knowledgeable and attentive, he made the whole experience extra fun.
This place is simply outstanding! It’s easily one of our favorite restaurants in Detroit. When we first visited it late in 2024, we knew we had to make it a monthly rotation, and we still never feel like we’ve had enough of it. Haha! The Kanpachi Ponzu, Wagyu, Tako-Age, Kaarage, Toro sashimi and the Tuna Jalapeño roll are some of our favorites. You gotta make reservations about a week ahead.
