Hollywood Casino at Greektown

I had an incredibly disappointing and upsetting experience at this hotel. During my stay, I used the valet service—and unfortunately, a valuable personal item (a pair of Gucci sunglasses) was stolen from my vehicle. When I brought this to the hotel’s attention, I expected at least a basic level of professionalism and accountability. Instead, I was met with unhelpful staff, poor communication, and a complete lack of urgency or transparency in reviewing the security footage.

What’s worse is how dismissive and unprofessional the staff have been throughout this process. I feel like my concerns were brushed off, and I’ve been left with no resolution or even a real investigation into what happened. It’s extremely frustrating and disheartening, especially from a hotel that promotes itself as high-end.

I would strongly caution anyone considering this hotel—especially if you plan to use the valet service. Security and customer service clearly are not their priorities.

This is my go to casino in the Detroit area. The staff is always pleasant, the casino is clean and they are always adding new games.

My wife and I booked a room here. Due to a family emergency, we had to cancel our reservation. We did this an hour BEFORE the cancellation deadline of 48 hours (most hotels are 24, but I guess this place isn't as flexible). We were told that since we were past the deadline (we weren't) we would have to pay a $150 cancellation fee, which was immediately charged to our card. The person we spoke to on the phone was extremely rude to us, and told us that they absolutely would not do anything about it. Horrible experience.

Overall my experience wasn’t the best. I ordered room service and it took over an hour to receive and when I got my order it was incorrect.
I tried calling room service several times and even left a voicemail and nobody contacted me to resolve the problem. I ordered dry lemon pepper wings and received sweet honey barbecue. I checked my receipt and I did order correctly. Not even a comparable order. The rug in the room had pretzel crumbs and I didn’t have any food besides the wrong room service order I received.

Greek town has high energy for a local Las Vegas experience.

No perks for gambling. Spent $1k at their casino. No pool. Avoid

The room was adequately furnished but some of the furniture were in poor condition. Unfortunately, I was given a room overlooking the top level of the parking lot. I could not darken the room since the spotlights were shining directly onto the room. There were also extremely bright lights on the parking lot.

It's a casino, give your money to the rich guy, and have some drinks while doing so.

Room was half cleaned. Clothes, dust, dirt, lighters, and other unusual items were found under the night stand

We’ve stayed here several times, the rooms are always nice, fun atmosphere with all of the nearby amenities.

Upper level casino is very smokey, but the lower level offers smoke free gaming.

Tight slots, low and infrequent payouts. Doesn’t seem like much winning takes place when observing others. This has been our gambling experience just about every time we’ve stayed here.

Was just there today parked in the parking garage in the wrong spot. One of their employees named Michael was extremely rude and on a power trip threatening to tell my vehicle if I didn't move it I want to MGM casino much better place

The day manager at the front desk was very helpful. The room service was awful - late, cold and incorrect. The casino was nice.
