Tried to sit at one of the 8 empty seats only to be told that they were being saved for different groups. I’m standing here on a Friday night and there’s open tables everywhere but they don’t want us at the bar. This place has gone downhill 👎🏻

Asked for grits with American cheese on it, they gave us cheddar grits with American cheese on it lol. Ordered corned beef has expecting something other than deli sliced corned beef chopped up. Love the signs inside. Will be back again. Gonna try other items next time .

We had just gotten out of a concert at The Majestic Theater and were looking for a restaurant/bar open late. We found honest johns and walked on over.
I was expecting semi okay food just to satisfy us before our drive back home.
What I didnt expect was the best chicken tenders I have ever ate in my entire life. The fries were decent, but the chicken tenders???? AMAZING!!! life altering dare I say. I also had a 'youre killing me smalls' cocktail, AMAZING. Highky reccomend this place, amazing atmosphere, comfy, good food, good prices, people were cool too.
The bathroom is a decent size but COVERED in graffiti, its a cery interesting thing to witness when 2 cocktails deep

This lady Jose was so rude And she hostile smh she grabbed my date drink out her hand I was surprised I had to stop her from walking away an I asked her why she do that then she said we paid are bill and can not take drinks out side the bar/restaurant. I paid my bill $62 bucks off my credit card and tipped my waiter $6 bucks cash. Jose she was not my waiter and we were still drinking planning on going to casino or home me and my date was debating at our seats. There is no reason to take my date drink out her hand people drink at the table. Then she went to our waiter and checked our order and and made me tip on my card and got mad our waiter and she was kind..... worst place to dive an drink an eat people will steal DO NOT GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD Jose say she from Traverse City and it doesn't matter what I think about her actions. Bathrooms is a Messy sticker hive and ppl spit on the floor in the bathroom. It's even worse because Jose but do not waste no money there. Special occasions is OK because I donated money nice vibes good people on occasion. Do NOT GO THERE IF U JUST Want to hang out or get bite to EAT.... PLEASE don't GO 🤢😷

Honestly The food in the breakfast is definitely really good but what really got me was the atmosphere. Johnny was amazing definitely love the vibes. The music he put on and the playlist!! that he had definitely would recommend, especially if he’s always on the playlist. For sure had the brunch vibes going. What do people love more than food music and that’s always a plus for me
