Delicious coffee, awesome vibe, friendly and helpful staff!!
Tried to give the Wyandotte location a chance this morning; simply asked if they can do a macchiato - to which the cashier caught an attitude & replied ‘what kind?!’ Well, if there was an actual menu posted, I could’ve answered that. Left without getting anything 🤷🏻♀️
I see people saying “carrot bacon” and I think to myself: I gotta try that. And it’s worth the hype! Had the vegan BLT and it was incredible. Some of the most flavorful vegan mayo I’ve ever had. Definitely a great start to the morning.
I had the avocado, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich on sourdough. I really appreciate that the vegan egg is tofu, makes it a little more unique. I should've gotten a bagel though, the ingredients would fit better. I think some sort of sauce would help the sandwich too. Iced oatmilk matcha latte was good, but I think nondairy is an upcharge.
We got the bacon, egg and cheese bagel and their carrot bacon was amazing! The whole sandwich was so good, including the seasoned tofu as the egg but the carrot bacon was the highlight for sure!
Went to James Oliver Coffee in Corktown Detroit this morning to try their breakfast and was not disappointed. Sandwiches I got: - Vegan Avocado egg cheese - Vegan Sausage egg cheese - Vegan BLT - Vegan Turkey Deluxe Their toasted bagel sandwiches were great and filling. The vegan Avocado egg cheese is probably my favorite. I got a mocha latte and matcha latte with Lavender, both with almond milk. They're some of the best drinks I've had. There's no non-dairy milk upcharge either! Will definitely come back 😁
Ordered from here for first time today, the grilled cheese with that Gouda is set. Tasty stuff.

At 7:30 am I waited 15 minutes for a breakfast sandwich. I was then told it’d be another 10 minutes. I could tell they were working on a big order, but you’d think they’d be able to do the small orders for folks that are waiting. It wasn’t busy in there either. I ended up getting a refund.

Amazing breakfast bagel sandwiches. The Mediterranean bagel is a fantastic flavor. This is my favorite place for a breakfast sandwich in metro Detroit. Warm and whimsical atmosphere. Can be very busy on weekends. Really nice outdoor space for kids or groups to spread out. Parking in back.

The prices nowadays are ridiculous and the service is slow.

This place is very cute, and I love their outdoor space when it is warmer. Their rosemary salt bagel and the garlic cream cheese is awesome and my partner likes some of the sweeter cream cheeses.
The feedback I have would be for the process of ordering and getting your food. The space to line up for the cashier is awkward and every time I’ve been there, I witness someone get cut in line due to what seems to be some combination of confusion, there being two cash registers that are spaced apart, and the case for the bagels requiring you to walk past the line to look and then you are right in front of the second register. Next, the last two times I’ve been, I’ve seen a handful of rosemary sea salt bagels in the case, been able to order them and told they had some, then 10-15 minutes later been called to service bar to be told they were out. I’m not sure what is going wrong in that process, but it is frustrating because if I knew from the beginning they were out (which is totally fine) I would likely not stay and order anything. But instead I get stuck deciding whether to go through the fuss of asking for a refund after waiting in line and then for my food or just settling for something I’m not really interested.
The speed of service does seem to have gotten quicker. Previously it was minimum of 15 minutes, even up to 30 minutes during one visit, to get my bagel and coffee. Today it was closer to 10 minutes and it seemed just as busy. Hopefully this will continue!
