I placed an order for delivery online. The store called me shortly after to advise they didn't have a delivery driver for the day. The young lady offered to close out the order or change to pickup. I asked for a refund and she said okay. I checked my account a few hours later and they processed my order as DELIVERED! Smh this is unacceptable!!!

Wayne Anthony location is pretty consistent with my food orders. This little shop is has high volume of online and catering orders being so close to WSU so I try to be kind when walking in and ordering. Always a friendly staff too! Thanks!

I recently placed an order at the Jimmy John's location on Wayne State University's campus at 5118 Anthony Wayne Dr., Detroit, MI 48202. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment.First and foremost, the core value proposition of Jimmy John's is its "Freaky Fast" service. Sadly, this location did not live up to that reputation. I placed my order at 1:45 PM, and even though it's located on campus and I could have easily walked there, I opted for delivery due to a meeting. It's now an hour later, and my food has not arrived. This delay was already frustrating, but it was compounded by the fact that the Jimmy John's website claimed my order had been delivered when there was no food in sight.I called the store twice to inquire about my order's status. On both occasions, a young lady informed me that they had no control over the website and that the status displayed was incorrect. While I understand that technical glitches can happen, this response did not inspire confidence in the staff's ability to manage the situation effectively.My concerns grew as I wondered about the quality of the food upon arrival. Would my drink be significantly watered down, and would my sandwich be soggy after such a prolonged wait? These uncertainties added to my frustration, leaving me questioning the overall reliability of this Jimmy John's location.My experience at the Jimmy John's on Wayne State University's campus was disappointing. The service was far from "Freaky Fast," and the website issues only added to the frustration. I hope the management can address these concerns and improve their service quality in the future to meet the expectations of their customers. Until then, I'll be hesitant to order from this particular location again.

I went to this location on friday september 22. I saw on the website that this location closes at 9:00pm. i showed up at 8:40pm to get some sandwiches and the door was locked. the girl who was working at the time came to the door and said that she’s closing early because it was a “slow day” (not her call) and then when i asked if she could make me a sandwich, (because theoretically they should still be open) she said “sorry i already threw out the bread”. she then shut the door and proceeded to close the location for the day. I was shocked and I will never go back to that location. Terrible customer service, and terrible experience and as someone who works in customer service you should never turn away a customer like that. Very unacceptable and I hope that worker sees the repercussions of being a horrible employee.

food was good but they randomly charged me for a 1/4 pickle. Which is equal to the same price as a whole pickle on the menu by the way... but the person who cut my 1/4 pickle literally gave me a sliver of a 1/4 pickle but i work at a jimmy john's and the "1/4" means "1/4 cut" not slice i wasn't too mad but i thought it was funny and odd

Would rate it one star if I could. Moldy peppers on sandwich meat weird texture and it gave me food poisoning! This is completely unacceptable and I will be spreading word on campus to stay away from this place
