It’s been a while since my last visit, and I used to love the grilled chicken omelet. Today, I watched the cook take pre-cooked, chopped chicken from a container under the counter and place it on the grill. I was told that the chicken is pre-cooked to reduce wait times. The customer service rep guarantee that the chicken was fresh, gave me the option to change my order,and when I didn't change it, told me to come back or call if I didn't like it. There are many coney islands in Detroit and many of them may have certain things they do better than others. For L George’s, it’s breakfast. It’s 8PM as I write this. I ate breakfast 9-10 hours ago. But that monster of an omelette they served me was so enormous that I’m still full. THEE BEST!! Everytime I come in, they always make me feel like family. I love them. Food always good. I’ve been going to them since I was little. Never had any issues. Only thing i can really say is the prices are kind of crazy but I don’t mind lol.
