Visited Detroit and needed a quick bite to eat. Found this place and was blown away! The vibes were just right. Great music selection. I was jamming with the staff as I placed my order. The sandwiches were so delicious. They were gigantic, I could only eat half, so I had some great leftovers for later. Very fresh ingredients. You can tell the bread, the meat, was authentic. Large portion sandwiches. Nice bread, but heavy on the grease. With it’s name, I kind of expected a higher attention to quality, but was disappointed in the curation of ingredients: the prosciutto was bland, with gristle in many bites; the ham in another sandwich was salty and unremarkable.

When asked for a glass of water, the order taker said, WITH A STRAIGHT FACE, “We don’t have water at this time, just bottled water.”...
