Best Sunday breakfast in Midtown. We ordered the shrimp and grits, sweet potato pancakes and poached eggs. The eggs were serious perfection. Would come back every Sunday if i could.
Hello, today I was at the restaurant today. The wait staff was not great. We got seated with no silverware or napkins. Server came back and asked what we wanted to drink. I replied hot tea with honey and lemon and water with lemons. Came back with the items with no lemons or silverware. Got her an attention and brought back a single spoon, by the time she came back, the tea was cold, and I requested for a refilled. She took my cup away, brought me back, another part lipstick...

The decor is spartan but the food is to notch. A little pricey for breakfast but all scratch made. We had scratch made fluffy pancakes which were tender and light. Nicely cooked bacon, a large pile of steaming potatoes and perfectly cooked poached eggs with cooked whites and runny yolks. Awesome coffee from Pensive Man.
