We had a great tasting brunch before curtain time at the Fisher Theater.

Went for dinner with neighbors. Valet service was good. Restaurant service was poor. Brought soup but no spoon. Also no utensils for appetizers. Escargot was mediocre. Can’t even remember my entree. After we came home, husband had tipped generously but found that an extra $7 was added. Called the restaurant which said they would check but nothing came of it. Will not return

Having been to Le Supréme multiple times in the last month (I've now had; brunch, and dinner service) I can say it's easily one of my favorite spots. My first time walking in the space I was amazed at all the attention to detail. It's an impeccably Parisian bistro with dark hardwood, and cosy booths. Servers float through the dining room in white shirts and ties, they're friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. The food leaves nothing lacking, from perfectly poached eggs with hollandaise at brunch to the punchy yet creamy Filet au Poivre. Something as simple and classic as Bistro-fare isn't as simple to execute so perfectly each time and yet here we are. For those looking for a real showstopper do not miss the seafood tower! With food like this, and a really well curated wine glass and bottle list, I'm going to be coming back as often as I can!

I was super excited to visit Le Supreme as I saw it was on many people’s list of fave Detroit restaurants. Sadly I was disappointed pretty much from the moment we sat at the table. I feel at this type of restaurant a waiter/waitress should at least greet you within five minutes, that didn’t happen. When you get water nine minutes into your dining experience it’s very off putting. So we started out with the Salade verte which was pretty delicious, this was the standout of the whole meal. Simple Bibb lettuce, cucumber, radish, and vinaigrette, probably one of the best salads I’ve ever eaten. So I was excited for what was to come. Unfortunately everything else was over salted and practically inedible, I had to send a burger back and then they remade it only for it to be saltier than the first one. At this price point these type of mistakes shouldn’t happen. I feel like I’m at risk of high blood pressure or heart disease from all the salt consumed at this dinner. The waiter we had attempted to accommodate, but like I said the burger to go was more saltier than the first on that I vomited from the salt intake. On top of that we asked for a bag and waited around for fifteen minutes for the bag that he never came back with. I don’t think there is an excuse for this. Restaurants should be prepared for Saturday night crowds and waiters/waitress should give equal attention to all patrons. I wanted so bad to like this restaurant, but it will be difficult for me to recommend it or ever dine here again.

Le Supreme est supurbe ! Transport yourself to Paris. Great service. Dinner comes with a proper bread basket with three in-house made breads. Tried the French Onion Soup, Filet Mignon au Poivre and Boeuf Bourguignon. Stunning renovation of the Book Tower.

Ambiance was fantastic. But food was underwhelming. The French. Onion soup and escargot were delicious. Burger was one of the worst I've ever had. 2 in our group got really chewy steaks. Our server was not friendly at all.

Most of the dishes we had were quite good! Service was excellent. Not the spot to go if you're looking for a quiet dining experience, but if you don't mind a little more lively atmosphere, definitely worth eating here.

I can honestly say this place was not on our radar while visiting Detroit but it was right next to our hotel and we were starving once we got into town and checked in to our room. THANK GOD we decided to walk over and give it a shot! Stunningly gorgeous French themed restaurant with beautifully styled decor. The hosts were very kind and welcoming - always an important step that many restaurants lack on. Our server Paris was super nice and we had a lovely time being served by her. The drinks were classic and prepared very well which you could tell the bartenders were career bartenders and knew what they were doing. The food was sooooo good and loved the fact they freshly bake their bread. My only complaint which isn't really a complaint is the fact I left feeling super stuffed hahaha. Definitely give it a try!!

Right in the heart of the downtown Detroit district, this French-style brasserie has a homey, classical, and elegant ambiance perfect for a casual party or romantic dinner date. We went here for a nice Sunday brunch hoping to get some delicious Parisian cuisine. I ordered a latte, escargot, and quiche lorraine, The service was immaculate. The waitress was very attentive and even after we had finished our coffees, she offered to top off our beverage with more coffee. The food was excellent, too. While not for the squeamish (we had one brunch member refuse to try haha), the escargot was delicious swimming in a garlic parsley sauce and topped with a mushroom, which made everything quite palatable! The quiche was exactly what I needed. The quiche filling was so flavorful and every component of the bacon, leeks, and Gruyère stood out. The pastry layered under was delightfully buttery and flakey. Very satisfying meal!

This is an example of social media overhyping a mediocre restaurant. The omelet had zero flavor and the burger was subpar. The cheese appetizer was inedible. A French customer waiting for Valet actually echoed our sentiments regarding the quality of the food. Just not worth it.

Stopped in for a bevy and a light bite. It was Devine! Croissant all the way! We also loved the Niçoise salad as well.

We went during their first couple months of being open for dinner and then again when they first started serving brunch. I think they were still getting their workflow down. Wait times were longer than expected for a table and the kitchen was behind both times. With that being said I feel they still deserve 4 stars because our experience was overall positive. The food was tasty and well prepared and our servers were always attentive to our needs and educated about the menu. Give this place a try! The ambiance is also very special and unique - I love it here at night!

The food was just "fine". We ordered the following: Mushroom tart - it was served cold. I'm sure it would have been good if it was warm or great if it was served hot. Leeks - underwhelming. The nuts were good but the sauce lacked flavor. Deviled eggs - best thing we ate. The smoke roe was delicious. French onion soup - I didn't try it but was told it was good. Trout Almandine - it was good but I thought it had too much butter. Petite salad - 2nd best thing on the menu. The dressing was delicious. The service was not great. There was confusion when we arrived which was not big deal. Our main course came out at the same time as our appetizers which was surprising. Our waitress was great in the beginning then got too busy and never came back to clear the dishes off the table. The soup bowl was still on our table and the empty bread basket when she brought the dessert menu, 20 minutes after we were done eating. The entire experience was underwhelming. The best part of the night was walking through the Book Tower museum room. That I highly recommend doing!

The food is excellent. The ambiance is excellent. But... First time we were there, our service was excellent. Second time not so much. It was a mid-week -afternoon visit for meal and wine. Despite a lot of empty tables, we were seated in the back by the side delivery view. Another couple was then seated right next to us! They asked for a new table. We should have too but didn't. Service was dismissive and perfunctory. Server tried to "up-sell" us. We ordered cheese plate and server concluded 5 cheeses (not 3)without asking. Server tried to say we ordered a bottle of wine. Nope. It was 2 glasses. Table was never wiped/ cleaned while we were there. We had to ask for dessert/coffee. I recognize when restaurants are busy and server is busy/overwhelmed. Nope. Disappointing event. Will wait a bit before going back. 5 stars before this visit. This visit was 2 stars so 3 is my post today. Sorry.
