Just got home and had a wonderful experience at Le Supreme to celebrate my remission from Leukemia. This wonderful French bistro was worth celebrating at. I had the mushroom tart, almond trout, and chocolate pots de creme. Will definitely return to indulge in more.
I got the fish with saffron and there was literally no saffron on it. I could smell a very faint essence of saffron. But I cook with saffron regularly and know saffron. There was no saffron color, no saffron taste. I was so upset.. the place is cute and fish was cooked perfectly…. It’s too bad otherwise the place is super cute and I would go again for the atmosphere.
One of my favorite places to go downtown, have been there probably 15 times at this point and would say it’s consistent and to me, has the best atmosphere downtown. Dim but not too dim lighting, the interior design is so interesting, service is great but not stuffy. Favorite things to order: Tuna Carpaccio, lyonnaise salad, the burger, steak frites, sea bass. For brunch they have a super cute pastry basket great for a girls day! Never change Le Supreme!
