It's not glitz and glamour, it's just fantastic food and great service at a fair price. We don't need or want anything more than that.

The taco salad was pretty good. It is iceberg lettuce, but the real hero was the interestingly seasoned, tender steak along with the fresh veggies that went along with it. The California burrito is awesome, and you can't go wrong with the tacos. We had to try them all!

Not so good experience. I went in about 5:30pm today 4/3 for drinks and tacos. I ordered a frozen strawberry margarita, but was brought a raspberry margarita. When I asked what kind it was I was told it was strawberry and just accepted it and moved on. I was not at all satisfied with that margarita and didn’t drink it. I also ordered corn tacos & was brought out flour tacos. After the waiter brought back the correct order it just wasn’t appetizing more just thrown together, literally with soggy/old looking and tastingcorn taco shells. I told the waiter I wasn’t satisfied but I’d still pay for my order and was told a manager would come over, which never happened. I didn’t make a fuss about it, I’ll just never come back again. You’re better off going to Xochimilco. ??‍♀️

Haven't been to Mexican Town in years ( other than one disappointing trip to Xochimilco) and was very pleased. Clean, bright, nicely decorated place, server was very attentive and the food was very tasty! Cadillac margaritas were decent but not great... certainly not a deal breaker. Will be back for sure.

20 years ago this was my favorite restaurant with its buffets and the sweet ladies literally making fresh tortillas in the front as you walked in. Everything great about this restaurant had been removed.

We had a group of 12 and were able to get a table relatively quickly. Our service started out great, but slowly declined. Once our food was served, we saw our waitress very sparingly. It took forever to get boxes and our bill, which was a little frustrating since we were going to a concert after. They serve margaritas by the pitcher which was great for our large group! One full liter served about 6.I had the flautas, they were delicious! The refried beans that were served with them were also fantastic. We had the queso dip for an appetizer and that was so rich and tasty. It was served with warm flour tortillas and chips, both were great. Their salsas had excellent flavor and a good kick to them! The chips could use salt, but they were nice and fresh. We would definitely visit again!
