A nice place. We were seated right away and the waitress was very attentive. We had our food in no time and it was very good. The first chips and salsa are complimentary but you have to pay if you want more. Some places are now charging for chips and salsa with none free. There is plenty of outdoor seating you just have to tell them you want to sit outside. It's family oriented so yes there was quite a few families present. The food was okay, not spectacular but good. Was decent, but just didnt compare to Xochmilco across the street. Tacos were good I got the chicken. Rice and beans were also pretty good. But the drinks cant touch the drinks across the street, theyre bigger, better and the same price at $8.50. Also not sure if they serve draft beer, but Dos XX comes in a bottle.
Stopped by Los Galanes in Mexicantown and really enjoyed it. The menudo was surprisingly good, and honestly everything we tried was delicious. Great ambience, plenty of parking, and overall a really nice experience. Service was a little slow, but the staff was friendly and the food made up for it. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.
