Great place, but pretty lazy on the plant-based options. The veggie fajitas didn't have onion or bell pepper, and were very bland. All the other food around me looked like pretty standard Mexican fare you would find in the states, and the drinks were spectacular.
The food is sub-par in my opinion, but then again, I am used to "real" Mexican food as I lived just across the border in Arizona for many years. The salsa here is bland and the enchiladas taste just like the chimichangas that taste just like the burritos. You have to ask for garnish (chopped lettuce and tomato) as it doesn't come with the meal.
I have been coming to Los Galanes for more than 30 years. This Mexican restaurant has been a staple in our community for decades, and for good reason. Their menu is a treasure trove of authentic flavors, from sizzling fajitas to savory enchiladas. Every dish is a testament to their commitment to quality and tradition.
