The hostess was very accomodating to our group. The DJ kept the vibe going.
The ambiance of the restaurant is very chic. My dish Southern fried catfish and shrimp was a bit salty as were my greens, the macaroni was nice and cheesy. Our waitress was a little forgetfu, but attentive .
I can honestly say this was one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had! From the moment we sat down, our bartender (JASS) was AMAZING!! She was so sweet, welcoming, and personable. The restaurant serves food in a reasonable amount of time. The food is very hot, fresh and tasty. The atmosphere and decor are upscale, classy, chic, modern and clean. The layout is nice with background music. Service is friendly, professional, attentive, polite and very patient. Staff are sweet and kind and the support team help large party. The restaurant is well managed and the communication is expeditious, with email responses in less than 24 hours. The decor is cute and great for pictures and selfies. Parking can be challenging on busy days like Friday and street parking on Livernois is a problem. Bathrooms only service one person at a time. People enjoy Soul food Sunday, Catfish, yams, Mac, jerk pasta and a tequila drink. The experience is consistently excellent and people will return.
