Service and atmosphere was nice, but the desserts we ordered seemed so old, hard, and dry. Was super disappointed. My son got a churro and it was so hard he could barely bite into it....we had to throw it away ?. And I got a couple pastries and they were also hard and dry. I think they have way too many pastries out and not much business, so they're just sitting there getting hard. I wouldn't go back.

We made an impromptu visit to Detroit's Mexicantown neighborhood on an unseasonably warm day. The bakery is across the street from Clark Park, has easy street parking, and had the most amazing selection of sweet treats. And then we saw the case of warm savory items, and our lunch plan was set - empanadas and treats in the park. The hardest thing was picking, and the Buttercream Yo Yo won. It was huge and flavorful and satisfying. The two empanadas I tried were equally good - one with chicken and one with ham and cheese. The prices were great and the service was friendly. Definitely recommend!

The bakery is good but that day there were 6 young workers at the counter and they did not serve quickly. We waited a long time to pay at the checkout. They should be more friendly and organized. I really liked the tamales.

When I ordered cake and cupcakes fresh it was so good.. just picking things out the glass window is a whole different story the individual sliced cakes seems like they be sitting for weeks the lemon cake and the chocolate mousse cake was my favorite until I got a bad batch of that and cheesecake .. I wish they would make less of these things that way when they do put new ones out, they will be fresh and that once that has been sitting all week I would love to know what day they make everything fresh on
