you rock!!!
After having a horrible experience at Sheila's bakery. I was greeted with respect and treated with respect and received quality service. And great pricing. For my event cake..
I just want to say I was under a lot of stress today in customer service. Took it away, thank you so much..
This is a special place. Me and my mom used to always come to them when she was alive she passed in 2017 and today was my first time coming back inside the bakery since then. come to the bakery it gives you special memories that will last for ever.💛
I ordered my daughters quinceanera cake from here, and all my other bakery needs from here for over the past 20 years!! :))

MexicanTown Bakery & Cafe offers awesome sweets and treats available daily, with a wide variety of Mexican breads and desserts, as well as donuts and other pastries. It is one of the fresher bakeries around Mexican town, with quality items like the guava cheese danish / pastry, which was delicious even for those not usually a guava fan. The menu has expanded in the last year, featuring a brownie sweet bread and a dubai chocolate with strawberries cup as a must. It is a very cute and modern self serve bakery with a nice mix of modern french inspired pastries and traditional Mexican treats. Some pastries are bigger than your head, including a croissant stuffed with cream and strawberries. Items like the tres leches cake slice, strawberry tres leches cake, watermelon cookie, churo blonde, and white chocolate dipped strawberries are all excellent. The bakery offers great service and friendly help, with both English and Spanish speakers available. Everything is consistently fresh and always restocked, making it a go-to spot in SW Detroit.
