I ordered a 2 pc baked chicken breast: sides: collar greens and cabbage.
The chicken breasts to salty also the collar greens. Couldn't finish the green because to much salt. I boiled the chicken breasts to reduced salt intake! I have to watch my blood pressure level, as so many people. The seasons wasn't that great. I wasted $23.87.

Everything Soul food. I live 70 miles west of the City and crave this type of food. I ordered Wing dinner with corn and mashed potatoes. Good but wings were surprisingly flavorless! Just deep fried. No seasoning that I expected. Real mashed potatoes were ok. Since I don’t get down very often I also ordered a Rib dinner. The sauce overpowered the meat so I’m not sure if there was a dry rub. Yams were ok but sitting in too much juice leaves the flavor bland. Younger staff were excellent, courteous and polite. Older staff…. Attitude adjustment/customer service update would be good. All meals are $22 or more. Portions were somewhat small based on the cost for wholesale purchase. My third visit and peach cobbler still not available from the menu at noon.

The meat loaf was half cooked an raw in the center, greens was dry, just over all the food is nothing like it use to be an it was delicious then. A few of the workers was not getting along an allowing it to affect the customers atmosphere.

My server was friendly and nice some of the other servers were rude and not friendly one customer told server not to prepare her food without gloves on and he acted like he had an attitude about it the food will be much better if they lay off the salt I bought a pork chop dinner with green dressing and candy yams the pork chopGravy and dressing was so salty I could not eat it

I may have walked past or parked in the lot that belongs to Motor City Soul Food. However, I told them before the pandemic that I would never walk into that place again and I have not. The customer service was too too poor. I don’t know what they do today.
Why is cranberry sauce extra when you purchase a turkey and dressing dinner? The food cantanor is much smaller.

In my opinion this location is the best of the 3 locations. It's a carryout only Soul food restaurant. The food is always good but only thing is the food tastes different sometimes. Come early because they run out of popular items. If they could maintain the consistency I would give 5 stars.
