I usually don't leave negative reviews, but the staff was so rude when all I did was ask a question about what was available that my friends and I ended up leaving. We are from out of town and had never been in before, so a single ? seems reasonable. Was also told "I'm waiting..." with crossed arms and a sigh when we took more than 60 seconds to order, not even enough time to read over the menu. No thanks.

I'd first like to thank my Manager at my place of employment for recommending me to go. I went for the first time my husband and BFF and her husband, this past Saturday. This place was amazing good music, good wine, and the charcuterie board was good also.

The staff isn't friendly or helpful, not a place I'd recommend to friends, if all other options do not pan out, I'd come here ??‍♂️

This spot was recommended to me from a server at a really great restaurant called Ima Izakaya down the block, and it didn’t disappoint. We got lucky and came on a Jazz night hosted every third Saturday of the month with The Jesse Kramer Trio, and we had a great time. Great music, ambiance, wine and friendly staff - We’ll definitely come back when I’m in Detroit.

The guy with the dreds was not friendly and had a bad attitude. We were not greeted by any bartenders. The cheese plate was old and crusty. I was there to celebrate and this place put me in a bad mood. Will not be going bad. Band was excellent. Thats the only good part.

I would get this place a good review because the wine was good but the staff was not really nice to me. I spent over $100 and they were being weird about me asking for a double bag because I didn’t want my wine to drop in break since I was walking home.

I like to go for Tango dancing on Wed. Nights and I've been there for small music artists events and House music on Sundays. I like that it's small and cozy.I usually eat at home before I go. The charcuterie boards do not entice me at all. I hear there is a food truck, but it's never there during the times of my events. Great selection of wines. They need to invest in upgrading their dance floor. There is a serious slant and now the cheap linoleum floor is ripping up making it very hazardous for dancers.

Absolute trash. The wine tastes like toes and the staff is terrible and racist.

This place is one of my favorite wine bars in the city first and foremost. However, I went in with my partner on 11/9/23. Things seemed great until my interaction with the bartender Anthony. I jokingly told him that my partner was making fun of me for ordering Moscato (I'm a beverage Director and wine nerd btw) in which he responded with "I don't care what you want, just hurry up". I've been in F+B in Detroit for a decade and I've never heard nor would I ever say that to a guest. It was completely inhospitable and unwarranted. This instance doesn't devalue the love I have for mcw, but I can't in good conscience recommend it to my guests and won't be back for a while.

Fantastic natural wine spot in Detroit. Predominantly European wine, but very wide range and the staff are super friendly and knowledgable about their stock.Don’t let the looks from the outside put you off, it looks closed, perhaps even slightly abandoned at first look. Even the door with the open sign looks like it’s closed, but go inside and it’s a great spot. Good bar for drinking in, lots of seats and a huge terrace at the back. Would very much recommend this place if you are a natural wine fan
