Called a month ahead of time to see if they would be open. They said yes. Rented a van for 14 of us . Called 2 days before to make sure they would be open. Got there. They weren't open. $ 1000 for the van, and no one was there. I'm disappointed for sure.

Never missed a St. Patty's Day Celebration yet. Going on 20 years. On the Historic Registry. Live music on the weekends. Friendly people all around. Every now and then, you'll see the original owner Nancy having a drink with old friends. Great history, great city and sports.Parking: Now owned by Steven's Family and doing a great job.

They always say that this is Detroit's oldest bar.Not sure if that's true, but it's really old and cool. Kind of an old house or something.Good sound system for live music.Seems small, but they have a big outdoor space, with fire pit.Drinks have a strong pour.Highly recommend.
