Good place to have a drink when in downtown Detroit for any occasion. Steve is a friendly bartender with great stories

The vibe is absolutely immaculate, it is like a time capsule. The burger was delicious. The owner was so friendly and fun with our group, he even gave us a parting gift. I won't forget it.

Very disrespectful and told me and my daughter he wasn’t open, also that we were not able to use his restroom. My daughter is 3 years old, and we are new the city. Also, the restaurant was empty and there was no other people in the establishment.

We apparently bothered the bartender by walking in the door. We were ignored, only offered bottled water for a fee, and wound up only buying a couple of $10 bottled beers. I have passed this place for 30 years and finally had an opportunity to check it out. Once was once too much.

Stopped by as we took kids to a concert at The Fillmore. We were the taxi driver..lol. What a fabulous burger, can’t remember the last time I had such a tender flavorful burger and it was bigger than the bun. Little inconspicuous place but what great food!! Thanks Nick

Made me a burger when everywhere else was closed

This place gaslights you that it is a restaurant. Wouldn't let us sit at a table. Mustard was dried out in the packet. Wouldn't even squeeze out. Shouldn't even be called a restaurant.

I could not believe the way we were treated when we came into this bar after a Tiger’s game. Whoever the bartender was on 6/19 was so rude and condescending to myself and my guests.

Atmosphere is classic bar style. One big projector on the wall for games. Everyone’s right about expired beer saw for myself. Spoke with bartender “Steve” (I think his real name is savas based on other reviews) he suggested the gyro. Gyro was overall pretty good however I had to construct it myself. Food came out quick it’s a bar so don’t expect anything crazy it’s mostly just nuked in the microwave or quickly made otherwise.
In total if you’re looking for a place to drink I would suggest against the ten dollar expired beers here. If you’re looking for a good spot to watch the game and don’t drink this is a wholesome bar to do so.

Felt like I was going back in time. My buddies and I loved it. A proper throwback. Thanks Steve!

Incredible dive atmosphere. Pretty quiet, but with a full bar. A great drinking establishment

$10 a beer. Frozen food. Expired alcohol. Wild!
