I love them and everybody has their days butttttt, i do not appreciate trying to call in my order only to be put on hold, i hang up and call back only to be put on hold again! I drove all the way there still on hold! My daughter went in and placed my order while I’m still on hold! Not short staffed either. Then i get hung up on. Not cool. I’ll stick to ordering through Uber Eats.
As always the food is ON POINT! Been coming here for years and quality hasn't gone down. Atmosphere is meh. It's typical Detroit, West side. I have always felt safe and the workers are always calm and full of smiles!
Pretty good Coney Island; food is fantastic, service is good, but not great based on the fact is if their busy, it might take them a couple of minutes to deal you and get your food, but other than that good service, atmosphere is good for y'all that live in the Detroit hoods, you know what a hood Coney Island is like and that's all I gotta say about Nicky D's: Food is Excellent, Service is decent, and atmosphere is typical hood restaurant vibe.
