You can always tell that a restaurant is going to be good by the vibe that it gives off when you first enter the door. At Ottava Via, they definitely set the vibe that we were going to have a great meal. Their food is fresh and not too heavy, especially for our lunch. The atmosphere was perfect. Not too noisy or too quiet. Perfect for a nice lunch with friends!
We sat on the patio, flowers all around. Food was hot and delicious, had garlic shrimp and arancini (the best arancini I've ever had). Bread was chef's kiss! Our server Mariah was amazing, too!
From the moment we sat down, our server made us feel welcome and checked in often without being overbearing. We shared the bread service and a Caesar salad before digging into the pesto pasta and penne alla Arrabbiata, and every bite was delicious. I also ordered the Jack Sparrow cocktail, which looked fantastic and matched my taste perfectly. Between the friendly service, tasty food, and fun drink, this was an easy place to enjoy a night out.
