Ottawa Via is a iconic restaurant with small dining rooms with cool vibe. The appetizer with the cheese and pears with truffle honey is fantastic. The house salad is also very good. All the times we have eaten there it was consistently good.
Truffle butter pasta with the Italian sausage was the chefs kiss. Really nice truffle flavor, thicker noodles were bomb, and a hearty portions of mushrooms.
However was disappointed that when I called to place a pickup order, it was an AI that answered. Then I didn’t receive a text like it said it would, that my food was ready.

Not your typical Italian food. Not many options. Not sure if the menu changes? The appetizers were AMAZING. The garlic and goat cheese was my favorite. Calamari anywhere is yummy. The atmosphere was unique, didn't give Italian vibes, and was SUPER loud. So if you're looking for a quiet evening and dinner, this isn't the place. If you don't mind, it can really be romantic. It was different! We enjoyed and had a great evening.
