I have been going to this Pizza Papalis 4 over 30 years now. My favorite pizza that they offer is a deep dish Seafood pizza with extra shrimp. I usually get a medium and it runs me about $45. It is by far the best $45 pizza I've ever had and my absolute favorite pizza. I've ever had anywhere. They're deep dish pizza Rivals Chicago deep dish pizza who created the deep dish pizza. I've had Gino's deep dish pizza in Chicago and Pizza Papalis in Greektown was way better. I highly recommend this place to anybody that's in downtown Detroit. The bonus is that Three Doors Down from Pizza Papalis is a pastry shop called Astoria. Astoria has some of the single best pastries I've ever had. They have these awesome Raspberry torte cookies that are like thumb prints their giant cookies with a huge glob of raspberry jam on top. They have great cannolis. They have great strawberry torts. I can't go in Astoria and not spend $20 it's a great combination of what Greektown has to offer Pizza Papalis for dinner and Astoria pastries for dessert highly recommend that evening to anybody.

This may be the best pizza I've ever had. The deep dish had a great crunch and the sauce was delicious! The 313 included a great combination of ingredients with banana peppers, pepperoni and bacon. I would highly recommend either of these pies!However, we preordered our food during our wait and after being seated did not get our food for an additional 30-45 minutes.

We went to the Pizza Papalis in Greektown last weekend for a birthday party and I must say Everything was Great from the Food to the Service to the overall environment! It was busy, but we were waited on right away and our waters were brought right out while we looked over the menus.

The pizza was extremely good and although it was busy, the service kept up quite nicely. I enjoyed the atmosphere, nice place to watch a football game and the beer selection was better than expected. The decor was pretty cool, paid homage to local sports teams! Looking back, this was probably the best pizza I ate while on this trip and I ate more than I probably should have!

This place used to be good. But now it is just awful. Service is not horrible on their best day. We order med a pizza with chicken and the chicken tasted like it had freezer burn. When you say you don’t like their food, the attitude is like oh well. I haven’t been back since, not sure I’ll ever go back.

Ordered buffalo wings and the seafood combo pizza on tradition crust with spinach and onion. Everything was really delicious just the pizza came out a little slow. Our Uber driver recommended this place.

Deep dish pizza great they need to add little bit more sauce and it's too pricey the whole menu very pricey but great quality there is a 45 minute waiting for the pizza i think so people eat from the other Appetizers until it's ready
