I love potbelly but the service was very unfriendly … furthermore, they did not have any meatball subs anymore which was the reason why I crossed the whole airport.

Friendly staff and really good veggie melt sandwich. Ordered and ready to go quickly and staff did a nice job asking about any adds or changes to the standard order. Sandwich was warm and what this weary traveller needed?

I would definitely not come back here.. initially I was dealing with the lady making my sandwich and she was quite friendly.. got to the cash and the associate was miserable! Mumbling her words, absolutely no eye contact and acting like I was inconveniencing her. When I asked her to cut my sandwich in 3 it was laughable how she decided to that. I basically told her if she hated her job she should get a new one. If management actually pays attention to these posts, they also might like to know that a visit should be made to this location.. it needs help in a number of ways

While at Detroit for a layover, stopped by Potbelly for one of their sandwiches. Great tasting sandwich. The customer service can definitely improve, as neither I nor the customers in front of me received good customer service. It's a restaurant within an airport, so expect to pay a premium.

The staff working tonight 2/1 were horrible. They were so rude and had a horrible attitude. The guy starting the line and the cashier were the worst. The black lady with the nose ring was the only nice person!

No clear signage where to order. Was scolded because I went to where there was staff at the register. Heavy pepper in my sandwich which I didn't ask for. Bacon burnt. Staff in the back so loud I couldn't hear the condiment person's questions. Won't go there again

You can do worse at DTW, but like others below, the staff was somewhat rude and another customer in front of me pointed out to the that sandwiches were bumping and stacking on top of each other as they were chatting with other coworkers that walked by.
Used to be good. The staff there now can’t even make a sandwich from their own menu.

It's an airport food stall, and a decent one at that. I was there midweek December 2023. Service was quick and professional. Staff moved the customer along with purpose in a friendly way. Food itself was Potbelly typical. Al of our soup and sandwiches were made correctly. Small seating area can fill quickly, so some took their food to their gate. Will go again when in Concourse B/C.Wheelchair accessibility: Totally wheelchair accessible from the parking deck to Potbelly.

Are zero stars possible? Ordered an avocado turkey with bacon, never mentioned they were out of avocado or bacon until the very end. Actually they were out of everything but pickles and lettuce. What a joke, just close then.

Unfortunately, my experience at Potbelly Sandwich Shop in Detroit Michigan airport was less than satisfactory. The sandwich I received was burned which greatly impacted the taste. Additionally, the service left a lot to be desired. It's disappointing as I expected more from this establishment. I hope they take this feedback into account and improve their food and service.

I hadn't had Potbelly in about 8 years so I decided to try it again. I was trying to grab something simple before heading to my gate since my transfer didn't allow me a lot of time. Although the staff handling my order were not the friendliest, I was trying to be understanding since it was dinner time and getting busy. I got an Avo Turkey and after the staff handling condiments confirmed my order with me, I felt assured that they were making it correctly. After paying, I grabbed the sandwich and quickly rushed to my gate halfway across the airport. While waiting at the gate, I had a few minutes to eat half of my sandwich and to my dismay saw that they indeed forgot the avocado to my Avo Turkey. Without enough time to go back and say anything, I've turned to leaving a review here. Pretty frustrated by my experience especially after the staff directly confirmed my order with me and proceeded to get it wrong.
