The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is contemporary. I like their soups, salads, and salmon entrées; however, one of the things that surprised me was learning that the restaurant is exclusively located within the confines of the Hollywood Casino. As a result, no children under the age of 21 are allowed to dine at the restaurant. Lastly, in order to use the restrooms, you have to leave the restaurant and walk quite a distance back through the main smoke-filled areas of the casino to find the restrooms. This may pose as an inconvenience for some while dining.

Bartender (Elaine) was rude as soon as the restaurant opened. Told us she was "doing 7 things at once" as an excuse for forgetting what we ordered and just not communicating about the bill at all. Her attitude was just way off base (even though her shift had just began). The GM came to her defense instead of just correcting the issue and apologizing for her behavior. Poor experience overall.

Please please please change Caesar salad ...the wedge is VERY disappointing. Please bring back cheese bread. We loved coming here ...just went downhill ...food wise... We love lovely ladies at the bar. .. They get 10 stars ...Diane and Kristen..❤️
My hamburger was raw, fries warm, the mustard in tray was so dried up and old. Service was very slow and over priced. The last couple times we were in was awful. Going elsewhere.

Our visit was horrible. Server brought us olive bread multiple times, despite us asking her for garlic bread. We had to ask the manager for the right bread. It took us almost 40 min to get our drinks and about an hour for a simple steak and mashed potatoes dinner. Ordered rare steak and I was served an overcooked steak of fat and grease. Mashed potatoes were cold. Manager was nice and tried to help, server offered coffee on the house and brought us oily and dusty coffee that looked like tea, never coming back.

I’ve been a regular here for about 3 years now and this used to be my absolute favorite restaurant. The food is also good and still is. However, Over the past few months they have made a bunch of changes that have not been good. They got rid of the best hostess who we looked forward to seeing when we came, got rid of one of there best servers. They changed there bread which I loved to a new bread that was terrible, they got rid of there chocolate chip cake as well. The service not has really gone down hill. Last few times I’ve gone I’ve been there two hours. This never use to happen. Also I know the casino controls the temp but it is freezing in there all the time which makes it unpleasant. The menu is also very small compared to the other steakhouses in the area. I used to get excited to come here but not it’s an after thought. I hope they can fix these issues

Our server Renasia provided fantastic service as our server. She made our 17th Anniversary dinner a memorable one. We will ask for her anytime we go back. Very grateful to have her wait our table. This was our first time at Prism and we absolutely loved the food and wine. Great place for any occasion and highly recommend it to anybody trying to find a good place for a nice dinner Downtown Detroit.
