I ordered a macchiato and prepared pastry to go while stopping in to see the Fischer Building. I always tip $1.50 to a barista per drink and take it at the bar. Apparently since this wasn’t 20% of the bill with my croissant the patron behind me decided to make an underhanded comment while the employee laughed, continued talking about it while I’m standing off to the side. I found it unprofessional and a bummer as a hometown tourist. Other than that it was a nice place

Great hidden cafe' with a secret glass door entrance off of W. Grand Blvd.
Chefs heart goes into the pressed sandwiches and baked goods that will wake up your senses, the Baristas are pleasant and really love making a perfect cup of aqua heaven for you, hot or cold...you can't help but fall in love with this spot! Bon Appetite !

This artisan French bistro's aesthetic is so charming and trendy. Walked here from work and totally worth the walk. All the food is prepared in-house and is so fresh. I love their Chicken Caesar Salad and lemon bars! Lots of drinks options with different flavoring add-on options. They are located in the Fisher building. If you work nearby and are tired of the same food options, check this place out for lunch!

Here’s the thing. Promenade is great. Never had a bad experience with the food or the service. However, their hours are never consistent. You can’t just randomly decide to close (this happens frequently) when your hours are listed as open. I love promenade but please get your crap together with regards to your hours- it is irritating at best to drive all the way here just to end up going somewhere else.

I’ve been here a few times for lunch and usually order the Kale Chicken Caesar salad with some extra toppings and it is SO fresh. A bit pricey but worth the money for their portion size and health benefits. Service is pretty quick too. Definitely a new favorite!
