The food is AMAZING!!! From the minute you walk in the restaurant you’ll smell the wood fire they use for cooking! It’s the best thing you’ll ever smell! Fun vibe, great music from a live DJ.
Loved Puma!! What a cool place! Warm, friendly people, excellent service, great music, so cozy and fun. So many of the newer places that have opened don't feel like Detroit, Puma does 100%, in all the best ways. I can't wait to go back.

Puma Detroit is a restaurant with amazing food and a fun vibe. From the minute you walk in, you’ll smell the wood fire used for cooking. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant, with great music from a live DJ at just the right volume. The place feels like Detroit in all the best ways. The food is phenomenal, with mentions of the chicken sandwich, cucumber salad, apple salad, fried chicken, octopus ceviche, provelta, tuna, trout, and steak. The drinks are phenomenal as well, including a mezcal and tajin cocktail. Service is excellent, with warm, friendly people and a super informative, cheery server. Every employee was super sweet and kind. The restaurant is cute inside and out. One wish is for more plant based/vegetarian options in the future.
