Our service and atmosphere were nothing to write home about, but that steak? Ooooh boi. I’ve been all over the world for steak. Vegas, Australia, France, Italy, French Polynesia, Scotland. Here in Detroit I’ve been to London Chophouse, P+P several times (my favorite until tonight) and every other casino steakhouse in the city. I’ve had Mr. Paul’s, Louies and J Baldwins. My steak was perfect, crab cake was delicious and the drinks were good. The sides were hit or miss, my Mac and cheese was fine but two other guests had dry and cold Mac. Service not so much, felt rushed the entire dinner with a party of 10 that started early.
Sat at the bar due to it being a Friday night and not having reservations. Was going to soundboard for a show. Bartender promptly greeted us, and waited on us immediately. Food was very good. Just had appetizer and split a burger. The burger was very good and tender, and so is the appetizer of the feta and short rib. Very comfortable environment. Very busy make sure you make reservations if you want to be in the restaurant.
