Great food, chicken parmesan was awesome. It's a deli so there aren't a ton of tables but we didn't have an issue finding a seat on a weekday evening.

I ordered takeout and got an eggplant parmesan sandwich and a chicken parmesan sandwich for my buddy. I ate the sandwich after an hour but still the crunch was there on the eggplant parmesan. This is probably one of the best parmesan sandwich that I ever had in Detroit. Highly recommend this deli for anyone who wants to eat a top notch sandwich.

Tried my first Italian style sandwiches in Rocco's Italian deli. I tried eggplant parmesan sandwich and chicken parm sandwich. The chicken was alright, well seasoned but was on the drier side. But, the eggplant parm stole the show! It was as delicious as it gets. Perfectly seasoned, coated with crunches and the cheese almost melts in your mouth. Will definitely go back for eggplant parm.

Today's was my fifth time ordering from here wasn't pleased with my sandwich today it was surprisingly skimpy and whoever the sandwich put extra pepper spread so it pretty much over powered

The hostess watched a customer leave without part of their order and said “oh well, he’s gone”. And made no effort to get his attention.
Also, don’t expect them to make any modifications of any kind to any of the sandwiches. They’re not made to order. When I asked if they could add a particular cheese, she said “no, we can’t do that. Otherwise people would ask for specific cheese all the time”. You mean like at a sandwich shop? Seriously? Will not be coming back. Very unfortunate first impression.

First off sandwiches are the best. Now the unreconcilable: keep your political opinions to yourselves. I don’t want to see your workers wearing “Abolish Ice” tee shirts. I was fairly certain by the horrible tattoos and surgical masks around the chin, what political affiliation was anyway. But I draw the line at beating me over the head with it I’m block letters on a tee shirt
