Bar inside the Doubletree hotel. We were there for a sales conference and this bar was convenient since we were staying at the hotel. The servers were helpful and allowed you to sample a beer before ordering which was nice. The only issue is they were in and out of the bar so often you would have to wait awhile in between drinks. We didn't try the food but it did look and smell great. I am sure there are a ton of better bars in the area but if you are staying at the hotel and want to catch a game the Round Bar will work. On the plus side the Lions beat the Ravens 38-30 which made the experience a 10/10.

The wings were outrageous… Best restaurant wings I’ve ever had. Perfectly fried and not greasy whole wings! I recommend naked with the sauce on the side
Chef Andre is a master!
Rich was amazing and kept the conversation fun and the service is amazing!!!
Emily behind the bar is awesome - great old fashioned sand local draft beer!!!
I can’t recommend enough!

Returned on a Tuesday night - we're glad they're open until 11 as not many places are, especially during the week. Service is friendly, people were hanging out; there's a little bit of a vibe in here for a weeknight dinner and/or drink.

We did come in at last call for the kitchen I think, but food came out pretty slow this time, and everything was not quite hot enough. Fries had been sitting. It seems like the food has to come from a far way - the kitchen is on the other side of the building I think, so maybe not such great communication between the kitchen and bar area - the chef himself brought the food out, so maybe a food runner would be helpful. But I get it, Tuesday night - 1 server, 1 chef, a manager and a newbie at the bar.

The wings are great - large whole wings with good sauce and ok ranch. $19. Hubby's burger was burnt, unfortunately. But he did eat most of it anyway, so not too terrible. $23 though, ouch. For that, you can go to Olin and almost Grey Ghost. I had the fried chicken sandwich, and that's always good. Mine was still pretty hot and the sweet/hot sauce is good. Not the best chicken sandwich around, but decent. $21. To upgrade from chips to fries is an additional $4 each.

I do want to mention that the menu has changed and it's more expensive than I remember, for sure. Our meal with no drinks was $100 for mid sandwiches and barely warm fries. There are less affordable options to choose from, and more expensive ones - $35 chicken, $58 lamb chops and $72 steak and such. To be honest, if I'm coming here, I'm not ordering $70 steak; there are better places too close by. Maybe not open until 11 though! For a late night traveler who needs a nice dinner, at least it's available. I will say that the guy next to me ordered the salmon salad and it looked really good. I'd order that next time.

I'm not sure we'll rush back here, but for late night wings, we'll be back!

Honestly, I really enjoyed myself at this hotel bar. They have some really nice signature cocktails as well as a full bar, the service was fast, and the food was surprisingly good and not overly expensive. I had their holiday versions of the French 75 and a cosmo - both were very good. For food, I ordered the fried chicken sandwich, and it was great! Better than a lot of the more expensive places downtown. A large, whole fried chicken breast with yummy sauce, fresh bun and homemade fries. Perfect. the Doubletree is a great place to stay, no matter the season, but on a super cold night, it was really nice not to have to go outside for dinner. A lovely experience I'd repeat, and I'd for sure come back to this bar. Solid.

Chicken and gumbo soup had neither. Just rice and broth. Sent back. Chicken sandwich I went to cut and it just falls apart. Sent back. I'm out of here. Jocyln the bartender was great.....kitchen manger sending garbage out is the problem.

Jocelyn, was an ambassador of the establishment flowing from customer to customer. We also met the stunning Layla. She complimented Jocelyn by taking our ill prepared burger that was supposed to be well done but was as pink as red & white. They both should be developed into brand leaders in the Hilton sphere and management training program. The front desk needs more polish. The manager on duty Trina Feb13th spoke disparagingly of the reservation division and implied they will promise anything for a commission. Now, we were give the wrong bed, and view as Hilton Honors members but we're partially accommodated by Loretta over the phone but felt it was in adequate. To make a point both Jocelyn and Layla demonstrated more panache than Trina at the front -desk.

Jocelyn is an absolute gem in the restaurant. She deserves three raises and a giant Christmas bonus!

In town for a concert with a packed hotel and management has one person working the bar. Wasn’t the waitress/ bartenders fault, however won’t ever be returning to this bar or hotel. Took forever to get our cold food that sat in the window for far too long.

Jocelyn is the best!!! By herself on a busy Saturday night with no staff to help and she still killed it. You all need to give this girl a raise or the very least get her some help.

I only went for dessert, but the crème brûlée was not great. My drinks at the bar were fine though and other food I saw looked good.

Kid-friendliness: I interacted with three different people, and they were all very nice

Good drinks & service. The only thing they need to do is schedule around downtown events--if you have a hotel full of people in town for a weekend concert(Friday & Sunday nights), it seems like you'd want your bar open long enough afterwards to make some money. Friday night after a concert & we had time for 2 drinks before they kicked us out to close
