Food was excellent. I had the orange blossom lemonade which was refreshing on the warm day. My spouse and I shared 2 apps, the lamb shank tagine and bread pudding. The amount was perfect for us and we almost finished it all. All the food was great but the new eggplant app is amazing. Service was nice. I feel like they take the time to explain the menu and answer any questions you have. The chef wasn't in that day, we were informed he had an accident and we pray for his healing....
Don't let the humble exterior and the small, bumpy parking lot fool you, this is some of the best food I've ever eaten! My wife and I stopped by for Sunday lunch while we were out celebrating our anniversary in the Detroit area. The staff were super welcoming and friendly, Chef Omar came out to chat with us, and they even gave us a staff-signed card and some non-alcoholic wine on the house for our anniversary! We got the harissa potatoes and eggplant bites for starters....
Definitely worth the hype! the fish sandwich and tomato dip were amazing. Ginger chicken and lamb shank bowls were really good as well. Must come back for the chicken sandwich.
