The food was creative and tasty. We're pescatarians and we had plenty of options, which is not always the case. The music/noise level, however, was at a very high volume, so we opted to sit in the outdoor garden space, which was quieter and very serene. Not too far from the DIA which is another plus. We'll definitely return the next time we vist Detroit.
Impeccable food with friendly staff. We had a celiac and tree nut allergy which were both easily accommodated. Allergy safe dishes for each respective individual was communicated by every member of the staff. We always cherish our time at Selden and continue to think it is the best restaurant in Detroit!
This restaurant never disappoints. It is the first reservation (and you need one) I make when I am heading to Detroit. The menu changes according to what's coming off the farms nearby. Last night three of us split 5 dishes plus a dessert, and each dish was outstanding. Selden Standard is worth a special trip to the city.
