Best cafe in Detroit. Everything is intentional and thoughtfully crafted but accessible and not pretentious. The specialty drinks are always different and amazing. And the roasts are the best in the city. Palestina is the best roast I’ve had in my life. Plus the owner Martell is very community oriented and goes out of his way to be involved in the community and welcoming to everyone.
First time visiting this coffee shop and it definitely feels one of a kind. Sepia does an amazing job of making an industrial modern vibe feel homey. Coffee was top tier, they had very interesting seasonal offerings, in-house roasting, syrups, etc. We visited the first day of our stay in Detroit, and were lucky enough the owner was in. He was very kind to talk to us about the place, and his history as a coffee importer.
