Staff could be a little more inviting, the lady was mean. The owner should look into hiring more friendly staff to service the customers. If you work in customer service you should have a positive/ uplifting attitude. Its ok to smile 😊. Other than that the burgers are really good.
Heard a lot of good things about Sonny's. However my experience was horrible. The customer service was lacking. I ordered the Cheeseburger deluxe and Double cheeseburger deluxe. My order was missing the coleslaw for both orders and fries were cold. The best part of my visit was sitting outside talking to the customers as we waited for our food.
I'm originally from Detroit but I moved to the South so whenever I go to Detroit I only go to Sonny's. But my son and I both said the exact same thing it wasn't as good as it normally is so I don't know what they did differently but I've been going off and on since the 1970s.
I called my order in before I came. It was ready when I got there. So this time the hamburgers were extra greasy and they didn't have that flavor that they normally...
