Walking into to the establishment was very clean and welcoming. We were greeted by a gentleman that was working by his self he was very nice. The food was okay. I loved the Mac and Cheese, the greens were a little over seasoned with pepper but it was still pretty good. The ribs were very tough, but the sauce was good! Overall I’d give it another try!
Finally a soul food restaurant that uses fresh yams!!! Everything (yams, dressing [needed more cranberry sauce], greens, mac and cheese was tasty. The turkey chops were perfect. The gentleman who took the order over the phone and rang me up when I picked up the order gave great customer service. We'll definitely be back.
This place is a takeout staple for us! always consistent and fresh. the wings and rib tips are BOMB. need a whole bottle of that soul sauce fr. banana pudding went crazyyy! love that it’s family owned too. a must try spot in the city! 🙌
