Do you have a sweet tooth and you want some delicious pie to go with that milk in your refrigerator.. Well get your behind down to Sweet Potato Sensations and grab a pie or two. I got 2 sweet potato pies for the house and let me just say...HEAVEN ... Not too sweet and the perfect texture..I've had some that were way too sweet and too thick. These are made just right and Fresh.
The BEST food I ate while visiting Detroit. We got 3 catfish dinners, each order came with 2 big pieces of catfish and 2 sides. We got Mac and cheese and collard green sides. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My friend got 3 pies and and got 10, bringing these yummy sweet potato and pecan pies home to Seattle.
Perhaps I should have ordered what they are know for, Sweet Potato Pie. I opted for the fried wings carry out and was sorely disappointed. My impression was that the old dark wings had been refried in old grease. Not edible. A break in the wing revealed old brittled rawhide like texture.
Too bad. I do wish they will do better.
