Sweetwater Wings
Chicken wings are what we do best. Marinated 24 hours, our wings are full of flavor without too much heat. We have won dozens of awards - Best Wings in Detroit HOUR MAGAZINE five years running. Best Wings in Detroit METRO TIMES, Best Wings in the State of Michigan 2018 MLIVE - WJR, Top 20 Placement in the US THRILLSEEKER, to name a few. We sell 15,000 lbs. weekly between four locations and our food truck so we are not alone in liking them. We Serve approximately 1 - 1/2 pounds of wings (weight before frying) which is about nine or ten wings depending on the size. Wings are served with a choice of bleu cheese or ranch and celery sticks - enjoy.
The Big Pig
Sweetwater's own pulled pork sandwich is tender pork, slow cooked in spices, and pulled from the bone. We then mix the pork with our special sauce and pile it high on a kaiser roll - kind of sweet with a hint of bbq served with a slice of onion and cole slaw.

For starters we use only Hormel Special Trim ribs, the best money can buy! They're slowly cooked in our five hour cooking process, and then blanketed in our piquant house-made sauce. Voted best ribs in Detroit (Detroit Free Press), we will put our ribs up against any in the city, they are that good. Furthermore, we're so anxious for you to try our ribs that we will throw in a full order of Sweetwater Wings absolutely FREE.

Wife and I ate here 7/18/26 mind u I left 80 on a 59.00 dollar bill so my feedback I feel granted. We were referred to this place for the wings and altho we didn't get them our food was amazing , after getting our food I understand the what felt prolonged wait times for it to arrive. My only knock was out waitress again threw her 20 anyway but she needs to learn that when you have a table you have to be attentive when alcohol drinks are ordered as she only came around maybe...

Probably top 3 wings for my palet I've ever had. More of a dry rub nakedness. Can't explain the flavor but I would say a vinegar base w/ hint of garlic with a hint of spice. Chard flavor. As for the wing texture it self. Its Great a chicken wing. If in Detroit. You must try!

I really enjoy the Cajun chicken bites which is my go to item. When dinning in the guest has to feed the juke box in order to have music. I feel you can at least offer music for people that spending money in your establishment. I till to leave fast because the restaurant is filled with people’s conversations, but maybe that’s the plan
