Sweetwater Wings
Chicken wings are what we do best. Marinated 24 hours, our wings are full of flavor without too much heat. We have won dozens of awards - Best Wings in Detroit HOUR MAGAZINE five years running. Best Wings in Detroit METRO TIMES, Best Wings in the State of Michigan 2018 MLIVE - WJR, Top 20 Placement in the US THRILLSEEKER, to name a few. We sell 15,000 lbs. weekly between four locations and our food truck so we are not alone in liking them. We Serve approximately 1 - 1/2 pounds of wings (weight before frying) which is about nine or ten wings depending on the size. Wings are served with a choice of bleu cheese or ranch and celery sticks - enjoy.
The Big Pig
Sweetwater's own pulled pork sandwich is tender pork, slow cooked in spices, and pulled from the bone. We then mix the pork with our special sauce and pile it high on a kaiser roll - kind of sweet with a hint of bbq served with a slice of onion and cole slaw.

Full Slab & Wings
For starters we use only Hormel Special Trim ribs, the best money can buy! They're slowly cooked in our five hour cooking process, and then blanketed in our piquant house-made sauce. Voted best ribs in Detroit (Detroit Free Press), we will put our ribs up against any in the city, they are that good. Furthermore, we're so anxious for you to try our ribs that we will throw in a full order of Sweetwater Wings absolutely FREE.

The food was spot-on—the fish, mac and cheese, and greens all hit just right. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and the portion sizes were perfect. We tried the green tea shots too, and they were exactly what we needed—smooth, balanced, and fun to sip. Detroit educator and father here. Sweetwater is a Detroit Staple. Best Wings, hands down. I never order anything else. Get the seasoned fries with ranch with it. When friends come into town and want to experience Detroit, this is one of the first places I take them.

No clue how this place has only 4 stars. The food was incredible, affordable, and of massive portion size. The service was also quick and courteous. It’s open late, and the atmosphere is excellent. Some of the best wings I’ve had.
