I had a reservation for my birthday and this was my first time at the restaurant. My waitress/mixologist Meagan (MP) was awesome. She was knowledgeable, warm and welcoming. I had fun with her and she is truly an asset to your establishment. I want her each time I visit.

My husband and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary here on a Friday night. From the moment we walked through the door, we felt like we were the only people in the whole restaurant. Megan Paige is a name I will never forget, because the service she provided was exceptional. She was very knowledgable about everything from the drinks on down to the desserts (although we were too stuffed to get any dessert!) The drinks, she hand crafted herself, and were top tier. I am very indecisive and I couldn't decide on what I wanted for an entree, but her recommendations were on point, because my food was everything! My husband and I had the best time at Table No. 2. I would dine here again and again; highly recommended.

Black owned. Means the food is actually seasoned. Had the duck, very tender and not fatty at all cooked perfectly with no grainy taste.Steak was tender medium with garlic on the top.Go to: spinach with cream with bread.

A wonderful experience and the ambiance was truly amazing a great restaurant for a romantic date. The food was very tasteful however, if I had any complaint it would be the food temperature needs to be a little better than luke warm it would overall improve the enjoyment of the meal. The staff absolutely friendly top notch service!!! The mixologist “Moon” this woman is the truth she created the most amazing cocktails she is definitely a asset to this new restaurant. Our hostess “Tope” was awesome she was so courteous and had such a great radiant personality and was well knowledgeable of every displayed item on menu. Tope is also a asset to this restaurant. Thank you Tope and Moon for making our first experience at TABLE No. 2 one to remember.Recommended dishes: Detroit Signature Roll, Seared Teriyaki Salmon and Crab Cake remoulade.Parking: Great parking at the Greektown garage on Brush free / validated.

This was an extremely odd experience. We arrived after 5pm. There was absolutely no one in the restaurant. We should have taken this as a sign. The chef greeted us at the door and sat us. Afterwards they asked us if we wanted bottled flat or sparkling. There were three of us and we said flat. The “decided” to give us two bottles. Later I found out that our water would cost us $24.00. We ordered the biscuits, wagyu meatballs, a Detroit sushi roll, halal chicken and the scallops. The biscuits were hard like rocks, the meatballs were tiny and not very tasty (didn’t taste fresh), and I know the scallops weren’t fresh because they were soggy. Oh, we also ordered spinach and truffle fries which were the best parts of our meal. But wait for this plot twist…as we were waiting for our food, we saw the chef go across the street and get his food from a food truck! The waitress..she tried but she’s not trained! I asked her about the short rib and she said she didn’t know because she doesn’t eat pork. I had to tell her it was beef. Then she tried to tell me that the sushi roll had uncooked shrimp. I had to tell her, that’s not a thing. It was a $250 disappointment.

STELLAR SERVICE I haven’t had the opportunity to dine at Table No.2. However, I would like to speak to the level of professionalism, integrity, impressive disposition, and good taste the owner, Omar , exudes. I attended an event held at one of his other restaurants last night in Royal Oak where I had the opportunity to observe his attention to detail and his interactions with guests. To say he is accommodating and pleasant is a vast understatement. He is the epitome of what doing “Good Business”entails--something to be truly appreciated and admired! Thank you, Omar, for facilitating an awesome experience! 5 STARS!

This is just my experience. Me and my wife did a walk in at the Restaurant this past weekend. Upon seating us they gave us a chefs table which was absolutely beautiful and intimate so I loved it. My wife had a smoke show(drink) and I had the prelude, no complaints there. Our waitress was very attentive and polite and we appreciate the top tier service she provided. We ordered the Mac and cheese, snapper, chicken and sushi. The best thing I ate was the sushi as the $70 lobster Mac was extremely gummy and the snapper was over seasoned and yes I’m aware it’s blackened. It was a good vibe though so there was no complaints UNTIL the hostess came from the hostess stand and told us we ordered the nasty stuff and insisted we send back the lobster and she’d just eat it. At that point my wife was disgusted and disappointed as our bill was nearly $300 and that behavior is unacceptable even at a chain restaurant. We won’t be back.

I would tell you not to go, but between the bad service and bad food, I don’t think this place will be around much long for it to matter.Service: extremely sparse and incomplete. Think empty glasses left everywhere, missed drink orders, wrong food, steaks served without knives and sushi served without chopsticks. Oh and the person to my left got his food 40 minutes after everyone else at the table got theirs (we timed it).Food: some was okay (apparently the scallops, oysters, and asparagus were nice) but mostly not good. Steaks were done incorrectly all around the table. Ex: one person asked for a crusted steak done medium rare, it came out with no crust, server took it back and re-presented the same steak with a crusted but now cooked well done. One person’s short rib was so bad he sent it back. The sushi I had was nothing special and bizarrely served separately plated so it took up more space than I really had at the table. The mashed potatoes were served in measuring cups…not kidding. I had the distinctly unique experience at this restaurant of eating the saltiest mushrooms on planet earth out of a gravy boat. So the plating itself was also just strange. When we arrived, the group was wondering why the restaurant was mostly empty in a Saturday night. We found out the hard way. Don’t make our mistake! Go somewhere else.

This place has been on my list of restaurants to try for a few months! It definitely did not disappoint! I celebrated my birthday here. The food was great! The teriyaki salmon was some of the best salmon that I have had. The steak was cooked to perfection. The Caesar salad was amazing and the chicken that I added to the salad was so tender moist and flavorful with a smoky grill taste. I enjoyed the crab cake, it was very meaty and not too greasy. The presentation of all the food was perfect. The ambiance and atmosphere was amazing. The jazz music was perfect for the occasion. The split crab legs were very good and flavorful, and I was surprised at how many I received. Overall 10/10! Cannot wait to go back!

Had a wonderful dinner and dinner experience before the show at the fox theater. Our steak entrees were cooked to order and were delicious. The creamed spinach and mushroom regau were excellent and complimented the filet very well. We chose the Bananas Foster for dessert and chef Omar prepared table side and he was gracious and answered our questions on dinner and shared the process and insights to the dishes he prepared for us. The manager was very personable welcoming to Table no 2.Parking: 2 hours at Greek Town parking adjoining property
