Visited Detroit and came here last night when I could hear the DJ from a block away 😭. Kim was AMAZING. Incredibly friendly and made the best drinks for my friends and I. More vegan options would be great but otherwise loved my time there!
Even though I only ordered one beer, I had a wonderful experience. Karen, the bartender, was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond, introducing different beers and offering samples so I could really appreciate the differences between the ones I was interested in. The atmosphere was fantastic, and we had so much fun with the games that we ended up staying for almost an hour. I only wish we had come before dinner so we could have tried more. Brakeman bartenders are cool and make great drinks. I came in last week and everyone had a smile on their faces and were laughing and joking together and with the customers. It’s a great vibe at brakeman. Kim is a good manager who can have fun but makes sure everything is running smooth. AP is my favorite bartender and I love watching the two of them banter.
