Tonight was my first time dining there. I feel it will be my last. The server never gave her name. The table was set with way too much. Once she got our drinks she didn’t clear any of the wine glasses. The food was mediocre at best. But what really sealed the deal was the bill. On the menu it stated 20% grat for party of 6 or more. We were a 4 top. It was added. Then we noticed an entree was removed. We noticed a sign as we left, buy one get one entree free with 2 bar beverages....
Food was excellent as was the service. My husband had the special which was a New York Steak and I had the short rib dinner. Both came with garlic mashed potatoes and a vegetable. Had to pass on dessert, meal was substantial. Great atmosphere.
The Statler gets a 10 star, everything was perfect. Very welcoming environment. All the staff was very nice, the food was excellent, the drinks were mixed well. The best lamb chops hands down. Free parking under the restaurant for early diners. We will definitely be going back.
