The Trolly Room has great food and even better service! My husband and I came to eat here after an event ended and didn’t realize the kitchen closed in 10 minutes. The wait staff was welcoming, helpful, and didn’t try to rush us. My husband and I both ordered the club sandwich with fries and it was delicious! We would definitely visit again!

First time visiting 11.5.23 with my Husband. We both ordered the Michigan Ave Burger with fries. It was amazing. Our waitress was amazing! Next time we’re in town we will be back! Beautiful facility.

The service was excellent ?. The food was good. I ordered salmon and my wife ordered a burger with truffle fries. The restaurant was located off the lobby of the Indigo hotel. Not disappointed with the meal at all. Also ordered dessert the chocolate cake and crem brulee. Both delicious!!! Recommend ???

Ding-ding. A nice little hotel lobby bar right on the corner of Michigan Avenue and Washington Boulevard. Inside the new Indigo Hotel and in a very lively section of downtown Detroit. Our bar experience was enjoyable with friendly customers and attentive service. The drinks were good and the bar food was okay. I think my favorite thing was the large windows allowing great people watching and city vibes.

My family and I sat down for breakfast on a Saturday morning. There was only one server for 3-4 tables. The service was VERY slow for simple breakfast items (ie. bagels, muffins, eggs, toast). We were told they were behind because of a flood in the kitchen... meanwhile other orders kept coming out. The server did apologize and indicated we would get a discount for waiting, but this never materialized. They brought my bagel out, but left my Mother In Law waiting for her bagel until we just never received it. The server just seemed stretched thin (ie. a management issue). The ambiance and facility is quite nice, but my dining experience was just painful.

Is there a certain time food menus are distributed to guests sitting at the bar? All I know is, my friend and I came to this establishment on Friday a little before 6:30 pm. No one was there. The bartender let us know it was only bar seating since there was limited staff. Ok cool. We order our drinks (since we only had a drink menu) honestly I thought maybe they didn’t serve food.Until… an older white woman came into the bar and was given drink and food menus. But ok… the other white guy at the bar was only given a drink menu. Was he asked if he wanted a food menu? Idk, all I know is, we weren’t given a food menu.Then… that same white woman, got up from the bar and moved her seat into the general seating area… after we were told “only bar seating due to limited staff.”I can’t help what I notice. Even if food started at a certain time, we were never offered a food menu or asked.Anyway, i feel we may have been judged by our dress. That’s ok, the nurse and finance professional won’t be back ?.The drink was good.
