Wow !!! So good . I don’t like pumpkin pie and people have told me sweet potato pie is similar, I’ve never tried it before . Was on my way out of the Royal Oak farmers market and saw this stand . Super nice gentleman . Love to support local so I bought a mini pie . Delicious!!! You won’t be disappointed with the taste of this amazing pie ! I will definitely keep my eye out to buy another . I swung by Royal Oak farmer’s market Saturday morning and grabbed a couple pies. Just ate a slice. This was my first time eating sweet potato pie in my life and I can only liken it to a religious experience. Incredible. I think the bar has been set so high I will be disappointed by any other pie moving forward, however I don’t see this as a problem as long as I can get more of Uncle Calvin’s.
My family and I were blessed with this pie this past weekend! The best we’ve ever had , so tasty and comforting. Plus the sweet, good people selling them were great to meet! Thank you for sharing the love with this beautiful pie.
