I tried Vicente’s Cuban Restaurant in Detroit last weekend before a Tigers game and it did not disappoint! A lot of restaurants downtown were either closed or had long waits, so I decided to give Vicente’s a try and I’m glad I did. The staff was very friendly, the food came out quickly, and the Pan Con Bistec was amazing. Shoutout to our server Abraham for being so accommodating. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re downtown Detroit!
I made reservations for 25 people for a Sunday, but it grew to 40. They accommodated us at the last minute. My original 25 were sat together at tables that were put together. Then the other 15 were sat right behind us at tables that were put together as well. We really appreciated that! The service was excellent! From the hostess to the waitstaff, they were personable, had fast service, and checked on us throughout the day without being overbearing. The food was excellent! Everyone...
Had an enjoyable dinner here this past weekend. It seemed clean, with an unfussy menu, and good drinks. Service could use some small tweaks and acoustics of the space kinda give mess hall sometimes, but I definitely recommend. I’ll most likely return.
