It's a small place in Midtown Detroit but has great food and service at a surprisingly reasonable price.

I dined here on Sunday March 24th. I used to dine here 1-3 times a week before Covid, but I will never come back. I asked to sit at the bar,but there were only 3 seats open because the remaining spaces were covered with take out boxes and other crap. There were 3 dirty tables when I arrived, that were never cleared in my 40 min there. There were open takeout boxes on the end of the bar with food in them during my entire stay. The worst thing was that there was a roach trap on the bar directly in front of me. The fact that a roach motel was on the bar right between a patron and raw seafood is beyond disturbing. This business has not only gone downhill, but it should be shutdown immediately.

I was hanging out in the downtown area for 313 Day and stopped in for sushi. The service by Sarah was good. She was courteous, friendly and attentive. An artist too who drew a caricature of us. It's got a quaint atmosphere. I ordered the Firecracker roll, shrimp tempura roll, CA roll and a ramen bowl. The rolls were decent. My daughter liked her ramen although it was spicy. They didn't have low sodium soy which I prefer as regular soy is too salty to me. I would go back. Would I go out of my way to? Not so much.

Came here for dinner and it was a pretty interesting experience. My partner and I dined in and were taken to the seating out of the restaurant. We've never been here before so we were quite confused. There was a lobby and shop near by. The waitress asked if we wanted any drinks or miso soup to start, my partner asked for water. This is the first time, I think, where we were ever charged for getting water when dined in. In their defense, they did give us a water bottle, but that was kind of funny. Food was pricey. We usually get rainbow rolls at sushi restaurants but here it's about $18 for the roll. We ended up ordering the spicy Cali roll, Alaskan roll, and the pork katsu. Our order came in to go boxes. We were confused to be honest. Waitress was nice, but only brought us our food. We had to throw away our own trash when we were done. Went in to paid afterwards. Didn't really felt like a normal dine in restaurant, more like a place you order and an option to sit near by to eat. Food was pleasantly good though! Pork katsu wss pricey but the portion was generous. Definitely my favorite and I would order the same thing again. The sushi rolls hit the spot as well. Close walk from the DIA, nice location. Pricey but would recommend.

My first time here, the food was very bland. I ordered the chicken fried rice well I had plenty of rice and hardly any chicken. I spent 28$ on myself and granddaughter she ordered something different and she said it was bland and she had that same dish at a different location and she said it was good. So I've wasted 28$ because it went in the trash. I did call back up there not wanting my money back but to let them know. Don't waste your money. If I could give a 0 I would.

I always get takeout from here, it’s the best place for cali roles around. I’ve tried a few of their noodle dishes and today their Tteokbokki, it was honestly amazing. 9/10 for sure. Sadly they forgot our spicy mayo but they offered us a free roll to make up for it. Very kind of them! Will be back (:Vegetarian options: Try the Tteokbokki i’m telling you!

I must admit, it’s an unusual experience! Having lived in Korea for many years, I am always looking for a good Korean food. While the format is a bit confusing, understanding how the system works takes a bit of time. And eating dinner and what appears to be an abandoned lobby takes a bit of getting used to. But the rewards are awesome! Service is great and the food as good as any I have had outside of Korea.

The Sushi is excellent! Service was perfect and the people who worked there were more than pleasant! It was interesting to find that there is no seating within the restaurant. We came in from the Woodward entrance. We selected what we wanted, paid and then was walked through to the lobby of the Park Shelton were there was a designated place for seating. It was comfy, just not what we expected.I will go back, I'll come in from the lobby next time.Parking: I tend to go out when the 'Moo' people (the crowd of people who are out at certain times) are not.So parking is aways easy. I can see parking would be more difficult at busier times.

Grabbed an end of the night bite to eat here before heading home. Wasabi is a mom and pop that's been here forever. I ordered salmon that was honestly the best I've had in ages. Miso soup slapped too. The next time I'm craving salmon, I'll order from here!
