This was our first visit to FTC. Had chicken & waffles, country fried steak, and pancakes. Everything was excellent. Service was fantastic. Will definitely return!

The food was ok for frozen food, the service was also ok but the big issue is the price, for a 1/4 lb cheeseburger with bacon the price was(7$+tax for the burger)and(4$+tax for 4x small pieces of bacon)Additionally they have a bunch of hidden fees, like a 20% extra charge if you have 8 or more people and a 2$ charge if you split a meal with someone.Personally I can't see spending a minimum of $11-20$ on my meal just to be forced to pay an extra 20% for a larger group of people and still be expected to leave a tip on top of that.

I don't understand the high reviews at all. Been here a few times for breakfast and dinner and it's been subpar or average food (some of which I'm convinced isn't even homemade or from a mix such as the waffles and chicken tenders) at higher prices. A la carte prices are also robbery, $4 for one pancake? Why?Much better options just in DeWitt. The staff can be friendly and the place is clean but that's about all the nice things I can say. Don't go out of your way to stop here.

Was Headed down HWY 69 South & punched in Google maps for restaurant near me that serves breakfast after 11am and family tree Café caught my eye looked like a hometown good folks restaurant so I hit the start button and im glad I did. The parking lot was full so I was a little afraid I was gonna have to wait. When we walked in we were greeted immediately with a smile and a happy hostess said “2? Ill find you a table “ i was wondering how long we’d have to wait because The place was packed with the locals of this town. We only had to wait two minutes for them to clean the table. Our waitress Amber was a Happy Soul and was happy to see us as if she was expecting us all morning and glad we showed up ( wow thats refreshing to say the least. What a Great person to have working for you and representing you and your restaurant ) Our food was served within 15 minutes of our order. My girlfriend had the vegetarian omelette, I had the Greek omelette both were very good. If youre passing by and hungry make the stop you wont be disappoint especially if your servers name is Amber……. *My girlfriend loved the Hot Chocolate

The Clinton County Historical Society Archives has had our Holiday Luncheon at the Family Tree Cafe for 5 years now. (And what an appropriate restaurant name for genealogists!). The food is great and the servers are so nice and always willing to go the extra mile for us. They stand out and we appreciate them very much! Thank you!
