I moved to DeWitt last year and have a young family. My wife is vegetarian and enjoyed the portabella mushrooms (she did comment she wished they were more seasoned). I really enjoyed the fried chicken and will be pushing to go back for more. There was a southwest black bean pita my wife really enjoyed and I hope it is brought back. We try to only go out once a month or so but if the pita is an option I'm sure I'll be able to make this more frequent considering the prices...
I have to say after coming here for the last few years for breakfast, I was very disappointed today (10/04/2026). I see prices have gone up and that was not unexpected. They are up everywhere. My usual mini breakfast was not on the menu, so I ordered the vegetable omelet and asked to make it scrambled and they did, but it arrived with no cheese. After pointing it out the waitress once she did come back (much later), there was no sense of urgency, not wanting to make it right....
Came here for a family dinner after visiting Preuss in Lansing, the food was excellent, and was treated to some of the most attentive service I've had in a long time. The rolls with cinnamon butter were fantastic as well; you can tell their main goal is great service and it shows.
