I took my friend here one weekday morning and it was perfect! The breakfast food is excellent, good early morning atmosphere with great servers. Finally convinced my brother to Sunday brunch with me here, and he it agrees it’s our new breakfast spot. No where better in town!
Nice clean place and disregard the Tavern sign outside. Cool sit up counter bar and looks like more of a breakfast joint or brunch. Burger was ok but too salty too me. Olive burger with a non handmade patty maybe formerly frozen? Kale semi stale chips for $17 plus a $3 tip was a bit much for a small town place. Go to Swanys in downtown SJ for a legit half pound olive burger and only get breakfast stuff at Family Tree. They close at 1 or 130 on Sun not the Google post time of 3pm.
We absolutely love going to The Family Tree Cafe! We have been going every weekend for almost a year now and our experience has always been amazing! The staff is fantastic and very friendly! The food is always delicious! Good portions of food, and the coffee is always flowing. It is a very family-friendly environment! They have great kids meals, and they have crayons and paper for the kids too. I highly recommend this place!
