Wife's burger was good, lots of fries. Had the steak burger on the hogie bun, good flavor but could have used twice as much steak meat, only maybe 8 steak bites in the cheese and onions. Sangria was good but had a carbonation. Lots of fiz. Atmosphere was bar like, open tables when we got there.
As a female living in Dexter and eating alone quite often I really enjoy coming to the Beer Grotto here in Dexter. The bar is staffed with all of the top shelf items I prefer. They also have a decent wine selection. In the past I've had their smashburger and extra crispy fries. Both were killer! I recently sat at the bar and had an unfortunate experience with my debit card that required me to run and get some more cash. So embarrassing. But the staff was very kind and accommodating...
A great spot in the heart of Dexter! The food was delicious!! The service stole the show!! It was a busy Saturday night (Aug 9th) and our server was attentive and smiled through a very busy service, A+++ ((I wish I got her name, massive asset to this establishment) I’ll see you next year for the next addition of the Watermoo Bicycle Race!!
